Currently living in the NYC area, Riot has a background in gymnastics and has been active in circus arts since 2007. Her foundation aerial skills where honed with Sky Gym, while Riot’s hoop dance and further knowledge of the aerial arts have been obtained through autodidact training. An active performer in commercial and concert venues, some of her previous clients include Finale NYC, Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, South Magazine, the City of Wilmington, North Carolina, the United States Coast Guard, Range Rover, and the New Orleans Saints.
In October 2011, she published her first book,"The Aerialist's Companion"; a guide providing technique and step-by-step instructions for beginner to advanced aerialists. As of fall 2012, she is working on another aerial publication.
Riot is an aerial dance and hula hooping performance artist willing to create new works, collaborate projects, and entertain a variety of events and venues.
